Handheld Portable Fan

I bought this during one of those weeks where the UK suddenly decided to pretend it was Spain.

I wasn't expecting miracles, but I was genuinely surprised by how much difference such a small fan makes.

It lives in my work bag now and has come with me on train journeys, walks, days out with the kids and even while filming videos. It's lightweight, rechargeable and the battery has comfortably lasted through a day out for me.

The biggest advantage is that you don't have to plan around it. If you're getting too hot, press a button and you've got instant airflow.

Is it going to replace air conditioning? Of course not.

Will it make standing on a packed train or sitting in the garden on a 30°C afternoon much more comfortable?

Definitely.

It's one of those inexpensive purchases that ends up getting used far more often than you'd expect.
